Tenemos el agrado de anunciar que desde ahora este weblog (Agregaciones Reproductivas de Peces: Caribe y Golfo de México) formará parte de la Sociedad para la Conservación de Agregaciones de Peces Arrecifales (SCRFA, por sus siglas en inglés) como una ventana para promover el intercambio de información bilingüe sobre investigación, avances, noticias, y artículos científicos y divulgativos relacionados con agregaciones reproductivas de peces arrecifales (FSAs, por sus siglas en inglés) en la región del Gran Caribe. Exhortamos a científicos, manejadores, pescadores y conservacionistas interesados en promover información valiosa para el avance del conocimiento sobre FSAs, a participar en este weblog. De manera alterna a la creación de este weblog, el Capítulo Gran Caribe de la SCRFA está en preparación para ser un foro dinámico para intercambio de información sobre proyectos en marcha en la región y para diseminar el conocimiento resultante al público en general para un mejor entendimiento sobre la conservación de las FSAs.

We are pleased to announce that from now on this weblog, Agregaciones Reproductivas de Peces: Caribe y Golfo de México (Fish Spawning Aggregations: Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico), will make part of the Society for the Conservation of Reef Fish Aggregations (SCRFA) as a window for promoting bilingual information exchange about the research, updates, news and scientific and divulgative articles dealing with reef fish spawning aggregations (FSAs) in the wider Caribbean region. We encourage to scientists, managers, fishermen and conservationists interested in promote valuable information for the advance of the knowledge on FSAs to participate in this weblog. Alternatively to the creation of this weblog, the wider Caribbean Chapter of the SCRFA is under construction as to be a vivid forum for exchanging information about on-going projects in the region and for disseminating the resulting knowledge to the general public for a better understanding about the conservation of FSAs.
