Amigos de Amoná, una ONG liderada por Michelle Scharer, está promoviendo la conservación del mero Cabrilla (Epinephelus guttatus) en Isla de Mona, Puerto Rico, con la colaboración del Programa Sea Grant Puerto Rico. Miembros de Amigos está difundiendo un “flyer” sobre el manejo y conservación del mero Cabrilla en diferentes sitios de Puerto Rico, como son pescaderías, restaurantes, clubs náuticos y agencias de gobierno (vigilantes del Departamento de Recursos Naturales). El “flyer” está como anexo al mensaje abajo.

Amigos de Amoná, a NGO leaded by Michelle Scharer, is promoting the conservation of Red Hind (Epinephelus guttatus) in Mona Island, Puerto Rico, with the collaboration of Sea Grant Puerto Rico. Members of Amigos are circulating a flyer on the management and conservation of Red hind in different areas in Puerto Rico, such as fish markets, restaurants, nautical clubs, and government agencies (Department of Natural Resources).
